Regarding safety, just like in big cities, very popular places or those frequented by tourists may require some caution with your bag, but robbery is unlikely.
We even dare to leave the front door open, the car windows down, things in the garden, without a care in the world.
Nightlife in LA operates on a restricted schedule; restaurants typically serve until 10 or 11 pm, while nightclubs start at 9 am and go until a maximum of 2 am.
In LA we have different events for each season of the year, for example in the summer we have concerts in the park or on the beach, in the winter we have the fireworks display on the Manhattan Beach pier, overlooking the sea, to celebrate Christmas. At this event, families fill the main street with blankets and chairs and enjoy snacks and wines to the sound of orchestrated Christmas music while waiting for the fireworks.
Daily life in LA
Living in Los Angeles means living in a large, first-world city, but also having the tranquility and security of a "small town." Here, we don't have neighborhoods; Los Angeles County encompasses small cities that have their own city hall and administration. Therefore, all the money a city collects, such as traffic fines, taxes, etc., goes into the city coffers, which pay for all services like police, security, street cleaning, and public space maintenance.
Each city has its own public school at all levels, and each student must study in the city where they reside.
Traffic on the freeways, as the highways connecting the various cities and downtown LA are called, is quite congested during peak hours (morning and late afternoon), like any large city, but presents no problems the rest of the time. Local traffic, that is, within the cities, is very light and you can move quickly from one place to another.
The traffic laws and rules are quite clear, strict, and work very well, as there are no accidents or road rage incidents, etc.
The cost of living is quite affordable, as there is almost no inflation; in other words, the same price you paid for a Coca-Cola two years ago is the same price you pay today. Here, even someone with simple jobs or domestic work can have everything they want, such as a new car, a well-decorated house, and new, fashionable clothes.
